These dolls are made of polymer clay spread over a wire armature. The clothing is generally made out of found natural materials, the hair is made out of hand-dyed sheep's wool, and the eyes are pearls. I used oil paints to create their skin tone. The background they are posed within are tiny, intricately decorated grottos within a massive (approx 15ft) tree, which was a combined effort of myself and Amanda Dudek for our senior thesis.
